Volunteer

Do you want to share your passion about the natural world with others? Do you enjoy butterflies and are fascinated with how bees buzz, ants live in a colony or how string rays swim so effortlessly? If so, positions are now open for volunteers that would like to support its programs by providing interactive, hands-on tours to general visitors, school groups and adult tours.

The duties for these volunteer positions will include greeting visitors; ushering them as they enter and leave the 3D Theater and Butterfly Conservatory, assistance in the cafe, Butterfly Treasures gift store and membership desk; assistance with facilities upkeep; providing brief information when guests are visiting the various Ant, Bee and Aquarium displays; and ensuring that the visitor experience is positive and informative. Volunteer positions are open for both morning and afternoon shifts. Training will be provided.
